What has happened

Your sensor's battery is safe, and your sensor has been tested and complies with the applicable Australian product safety standard for button/coin batteries (the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020).

However, we have identified that the printed user manual originally supplied with your Sensor did not include all the warning information required under the applicable information standard (the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Information Standard 2020) (Information Standard).

We are contacting our customers to provide all the information required under the Information Standard.

You do not need to stop using your sensor or return it. Please read the warning information on this page and refer back to it as needed.
